2025 M.S.C.E RESULTS OUT: Northern Education Division Tops the List
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, in collaboration with the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB), has officially released the 2025 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination results. The eagerly awaited results were announced today, September 5, 2025.
Exam Administration and Results
The MSCE exams took place from July 1 to July 25, 2025, with a total of 202,940 candidates registered. After weeks of anticipation, the results are now out, and they reveal some interesting trends. Out of the total number of candidates who sat for the exams, 113,708 have passed, representing a pass rate of 58.44%.
Top Performing Division and Schools
According to the results, the Northern Education Division has emerged as the best-performing division in the country. This achievement highlights the division’s commitment to providing quality education and supporting students in their academic endeavors.
In terms of individual schools, Mtendere Secondary School has been named the top-performing secondary school in the country. This achievement is a testament to the school’s hard work, dedication, and effective teaching methods.
Among Community Day Secondary Schools (CDSS), Chikhwaza Community Day Secondary School has stood out as the top-performing school. This achievement demonstrates the school’s ability to provide quality education despite the challenges faced by CDSS institutions.
